LADOGA - Mrs. Martha Alice Himes, 72, died Wednesday morning at the Hendricks Community Hospital in Danville. She had been in failing health since June 1968. She was born in 1896 in Fredericktown, Ohio. She was married to Mark Himes in 1919 and taught school for four years in Ohio. She was a member of the Ladoga Church of the Brethren and the Tri Kappa Chapter of Ladoga. She was a graduate of Manchester College in North Manchester. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Phil Davis of Danville; one son, Leonard of Wingate; two grandsons; a twin sister, Mrs. D. F. Ridenour of Fredricktown, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Kenneth Ross of Chillicothe, Ohio, and one brother, John Leonard of Van Wert, Ohio. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Gephart Funeral Home in Ladoga with Rev. Albert Harshbarger officiating. Burial will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. - jlr
